Mandali Garba

A traditional garba evening in the heart of Ahmedabad, run the way the old mandalis ran it — live dhol, a wide open floor, and no interval until the last raas. The evening opens with aarti, moves into slow taali garba as the floor fills, and picks up through the night into faster raas and hinch. Musicians play live throughout; there is no recorded track. The floor is open to everyone, whether you have danced every Navratri since you could walk or are stepping out for the first time. Traditional dress is encouraged but not required. Food stalls and seating are available around the ground. Parking is on site.

Mandali Dhol Group

A traditional dhol and shehnai ensemble that has played Navratri grounds across Gujarat for two decades. They perform live for the full nine nights, with no recorded accompaniment.

Riverfront Garba Ground

Passes are confirmed only after payment is received and Vocal4Locals replies to confirm. Nothing is reserved before that. Entry is subject to security check at the gate. Outside food and drink are not permitted. Children under 8 enter free with a paying adult. Traditional dress is encouraged. Passes are non-refundable. The organiser may change the schedule or line-up if required.
